We'll meet you at Marrakech (RAK) airport and transfer you to your riad in the heart of the medina. After settling in, you're free to unwind for the evening or head out to Jemaa el-Fna square, famous for its lively atmosphere, street performers, and local food stalls, before returning to your riad for the night.
DAY 2 - MARRAKECH TO DADES GORGE
Highlight: Ait Ben Haddou and the High Atlas Mountains
We'll head into the Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah, before continuing over the dramatic Tizi n'Tichka pass. Along the way to Dades Gorge, the landscape shifts from lush oases to rugged canyon walls. We'll spend the night at a charming guesthouse surrounded by the gorge's towering rock formations.
DAY 3 - DADES GORGE TO MERZOUGA
Highlight: Todra Gorge and a traditional Berber rug workshop
We'll rise early for a short trip to nearby Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise above a river-carved canyon, with time to walk along the water. From there, we'll visit an authentic rug shop to see how Berber rugs are woven, with the option to purchase one. We'll continue on to Merzouga for a warm Berber welcome, dinner, and an overnight stay at a riad.
DAY 4 - MERZOUGA DESERT DAY
Highlight: Camel trek into the Sahara for a night at a luxury desert camp
After breakfast, we'll set out by 4x4 across the dunes, visit with nomadic families over tea, and keep an eye out for fossils along the way, all set to the rhythm of a local Gnawa band. Following lunch back at the riad, we'll ride camels into the desert to reach our luxury camp, arriving in time to watch the sunset over the dunes. The evening brings a traditional dinner, live Berber music, and stargazing in the Sahara.
DAY 5 - MERZOUGA TO OUARZAZATE
Highlight: Sunrise sandboarding before the drive to Ouarzazate
We'll wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and try our hand at sandboarding before breakfast at camp. On the road to Ouarzazate, we'll stop in Rissani, home to one of Morocco's oldest markets, and pause to see traditional Amazigh clothing. Time permitting, we'll also visit Amridil Kasbah or watch traditional pottery-making in Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate by evening.
DAY 6 - OUARZAZATE TO MARRAKECH
Highlight: Crossing the High Atlas and a local tour of Marrakech's medina
We'll continue through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the Tizi n'Tichka pass and an Argan oil cooperative, then pause in the picturesque village of Taddert. Arriving in Marrakech by early afternoon, a local guide will lead us through the medina's bustling souks and past landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa el-Fna square. There's also the option of a relaxing hammam before dinner and an overnight stay at your riad.
DAY 7 - MARRAKECH DEPARTURE

In the Sahara, we step into a luxury desert camp beneath the stars. Comfortable, beautifully designed tents meet the vast stillness of the dunes, creating an unforgettable balance of simplicity and comfort in one of the most extraordinary settings on earth.
