THE ITINERARY
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN CASABLANCA
Highlight: Private airport pickup and a visit to the Hassan II Mosque
Your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport with a sign bearing your name. He'll take you to your hotel to check in, and if time permits, you'll visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque before a relaxing evening in Casablanca.
DAY 2 - CASABLANCA TO FES
Highlight: Passing through Rabat en route to Morocco's culture capital
We'll depart for Fes, stopping in Rabat to see highlights like the Hassan Tower and the Royal Palace. We'll continue on to Fes, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a riad inside the medina.
DAY 3 - FES DAY TOUR
Highlight: Exploring the ancient medina and ceramic workshops of Fes
Spend the day exploring the UNESCO-listed medina of Fes with a local guide, wandering its labyrinthine alleyways, visiting a traditional tannery, and admiring the city's historic madrasas and workshops. In the evening, enjoy dinner and another night in your riad.
DAY 4 - FES TO MERZOUGA
Highlight: Feeding Berber monkeys in the cedar forest en route to the desert
We'll travel through the Ziz Oasis Valley, stopping near the cedar forests to feed and admire the Berber monkeys. After passing through the Tafilalt Oasis, Morocco's largest palm valley, we'll continue into the desert, ending the evening with a traditional Berber dinner and a comfortable night's stay.
DAY 5 - MERZOUGA DESERT DAY
Highlight: Camel trek into the Sahara for a night at a luxury desert camp
We'll explore the sand dunes by 4x4, share tea with nomadic communities, and search for fossils along the way. In the afternoon, we'll ride camels into the desert to reach a luxury camp, where the evening unfolds with stargazing, Berber music, and a full traditional dinner.
DAY 6 - MERZOUGA TO DADES GORGE
Highlight: Sunrise sandboarding on the dunes before the drive to Dades Gorge
Wake early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, with the chance to try sandboarding before breakfast. We'll then set off toward Dades Gorge, passing through Rissani to experience one of Morocco's oldest and most authentic markets along the way.
DAY 7 - DADES GORGE TO AIT BEN HADDOU
Highlight: Learning traditional pottery-making in the village of Skoura
We'll traverse the dramatic landscapes of the High Atlas, stopping in the village of Skoura to learn how locals make traditional clay pottery. We'll end the day visiting Ait Ben Haddou, a world-renowned kasbah and famous filming location.
DAY 8 - AIT BEN HADDOU TO MARRAKECH
Highlight: Crossing the High Atlas Mountains into Marrakech
We'll continue through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the Tizi n'Tichka pass and an Argan oil shop along the way. Arriving in Marrakech, you'll have time to explore the medina's bustling souks and landmarks like Jemaa el-Fna square before dinner and a stay at your riad.
DAY 9 - MARRAKECH DEPARTURE
Highlight: Last-minute souvenir shopping before your departure
Enjoy breakfast and take in the last views from your riad, with time to gather souvenirs in the souks before your driver takes you to the airport for your departure flight home.
